¬ отеле Agapi Beach ( N 35^20.236' E25^04.693') была обнаружена платна¤ точка доступа в »нтернет  от www.forthnet.gr  стоимость карточки 6 евро за 2 часа доступа. ѕрактическа¤ скорость св¤зи с московскими почтовыми серверами  ( Mail.ru )1-2 ћбайт в минуту.  ƒлительность каждого сеанса измер¤етс¤ с точностью до секунды. ѕервоначально можно подключитьс¤ без карточки, но не введ¤ пароль  вы не сможете увидеть ничего , кроме заглавной страницы. ƒальность св¤зи не больша¤, по моему опыту метров 20 от точки доступа. 

 арточки за 6 евро хватает на неделю, если использовать »нтернет дл¤ скачивани¤ почты не забывать разлогинитьс¤. ѕотенциально бывают ещЄ 14 евровые карточки  на 24 часа доступа в течении одного дн¤, но они наверное дл¤ трудоголиков .

Instructions for Windows XP
(the instructions are similar for other versions)Most modern laptops have preseted settings.

Make sure that your computer is equipped with a suitable wireless communication card.

If necessary, check your settings in accordance with the instructions below:

  1. FORTHnet HotSpot Connection Settings
    Press УStartФ ->УControl PanelФ ->УNetwork ConnectionsФ -> right-click on УWireless Network ConnectionФ and select "View available Wireless Networks".
    To connect to a FORTHnet Hotspot, you must select the УforthnetФ network SSID.
    Make sure that УData encryptionФ is not selected (WEP enabled)

     
  2. Microsoft Internet Explorer Settings
    From your browser select -> УToolsФ ->УInternet OptionsФ -> УConnectionsФ 
    In УLAN SettingsФ open the УLocal Area Network (LAN) settingsФ window. None of the following should be enabled:
    • Automatically detect settings
    • Use automatic configuration script
    • Use a proxy server for your LAN
